One ended rain gutter has one side to accommodate the rope line in the existing tent.  The other end has grommets so you can rope-tied to other structures.  It also features sewed webbing to also drive anchor bolts through the fabrics/webbing to permanently secure the gutter.

This kit is to convert Standard West Coast Style Tent to a Quick Peak Style Tent.  The kit comes with all necessary parts to convert 30 or 40 wide tent into a Quick Peak Style Tent

Tent Sidewall Standard Features:

  1. Fabrics: 15 oz., Laminate materials. Anti-Wicking, Fire Retardant (California State Fire Certified), NFPA-701, and more.
  2. Buckles and Grommets are made using Stainless Steel.
  3. Webbings are UV resistant and waterproof.
  4. Ropes are UV resistant, waterproof, and non-stretch.
  5. We use an RF heat seal process to build the parts, ensuring a stronger bond.
  6. Clear sidewalls use heavy 20 Gauge (Cal-fire certified).
  7. Meshed sidewalls are also Cal-fire certified.
  8. Standard sidewalls will include top pole straps and bottom pole pockets for flap reinforcements.

Warning:
Tent sidewall are made of the same fabric as the tent tops. Since the sidewalls typically hang down from the tent top, the fabric is stressed. All points need to be anchored securely to prevent flapping. Most damage occurs from winds whipping the fabric against the frame or against the ground. To prevent damage to the sidewalls:

  1. Tighten all anchor points so the sidewalls don’t flap around.
  2. Secure the bottom of the sidewall with poles, ropes, or other tie-downs.
  3. If heavy winds are forecast for the area, take down the sidewalls. Consider taking down the entire tent.
  4. Clear sidewalls need to be handled with extreme care. Clear will tear very easily. Do not pull clear too tight. Unlike its vinyl counterpart, clear fabrics do stretch. Do not allow clear tent fabric to freeze or be exposed to high heat conditions. Transparencies will deteriorate over time, especially with extreme temperatures. Clear will shrink in a cold environment and expand in hot temperatures.
