Conditions of Sale, Use, & Purchase

Terms:

1. Our standard terms of sale require prepayment for all merchandise. All credit card orders require advance payment. If credit card payments are not made in advance, a 3% charge will be added.
2. If the shipment is C.O.D., the C.O.D. charge will be added to the freight bill. Cash or a cashier’s check is required for payment.
3. Approved credit accounts will be paid net 30 days. If payment is not received within 45 days, we reserve the right to withdraw any discounts and charge the full published price. Accounts that are over 30 days late will accrue a late charge at an interest rate of 1.5% per month.
4. For overdue and delinquent accounts, the customer will be responsible for any fees required to collect the money owed. This includes but is not limited to attorney fees, collections fees, travel requirements, court costs, etc.
5. All merchandise remains the property of Central Tent until the account is paid in full. Until the account is paid, we reserve the right to reclaim the merchandise at any time.

Taxes:

Prices do not include sales and use tax. We will add sales tax on purchases within tax jurisdictions. This includes some companies outside of Georgia & Texas. All sales tax will be computed at the GA & TX rate regardless of where your company is located within the state. Companies are exempt from sales and use tax if they have a certificate of exemption on file. Out of state who pickup orders will be charged local tax.

Freight:

1. Upon receipt, please inspect all merchandise and report any missing and/or damaged goods to the freight company representative or the driver immediately, and before signing for the delivery. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving missing or damaged merchandise and report the problem. We will help you as much as we can to resolve the situation. However, it is not our responsibility to replace or replenish any shipments damage or loss that are caused by the freight company.
2. Prices do not include shipping to your final destination. Central Tent can ship your merchandise in several ways. Please inform us of your schedule. We will route the shipment so it will be both economical and arrive on time.
3. We do not guarantee merchandise to arrive on time. Some freight companies offer guarantee shipment. Because shipping terms can vary, please understand terms of the freight companies before committing to the shipping method.
4. All shipping costs, including the C.O.D. and handling fee,00 will be added to the overall price unless agreed to in advance. All shipment are subject to a handling fee regardless of whoever is picking up the shipment.
5. Unless agreed upon in advance, we may ship your products from multiple locations. All shipping costs, including split shipment charges, are responsibilities of customers unless agreed upon in advanced.

Packing List Policy:

1. The packing list will NOT be included in the shipment. The packing list and bill of lading will be available to you one business day after the merchandise is shipped. We can send copies of the packing list documents to you via e-mail or fax if requested.
2. If you require a copy of the packing list prior to the merchandise being shipped or, you would like a packing list to accompany your shipment, please notify us in advance. Be aware that selecting this option may delay your shipment.

Returns and Warranty:

1. All returns must be authorized in advance. We will not accept unauthorized returns.
2. A 15% charge will be added if the return is not due to an action by Central Tent.
3. If you are returning merchandise, please prepay the freight. We cannot accept freight collect at our warehouse. Merchandise will be refused at the warehouse if the freight is collect.
4. Any returns or refunds must be requested within 30 days after the merchandise is shipped. If you do not contact us within 30 days, we will assume that the customer has accepted the merchandise.
5. Our commercial merchandise does not come with a warranty. Because tent setup requires site planning and evaluation, we provide no guarantee against tent failures.
